Virtually all carpets are cleaned in our custom carpet cleaning spa.  We clean all carpets fully and carefully from our carpet cleaning factory. We believe that we can’t clean them as sparkling as if we were to clean them from your house.  We’re one of only a handful of cleaners in Nairobi Kenya who have a dedicated facility to clean carpets, as opposed to ‘the garage’ which is where most carpet cleaners in Nairobi clean their carpets.

We have over 2000sq ft. of space dedicated to the proper carpet cleaning, drying and storage of your carpet whilst it’s in our care.  We have invested in carpet dryers, carpet dusters and deep cleaners to ensure we do the very best job possible. We like to clean, dry and groom your carpet for at least 5 days but when needed fast, we can turn them around in two or three days. Carpet Pre Inspection

A qualified Carpet Cleaning technician who is an expert in carpet cleaning will come to your home and assess your carpet.  This is a vital step that ensures that we start on the correct process to clean your valuable carpet. Several checks are done including checking the quality of carpet, for example the nature of the carpet and its cleaning delicateness.

Dusting / Vacuuming

Various studies have shown that between 60 & 75% of all the dirt that is contained in your carpet will be DRY dirt.  That’s up to a Kilogram of dirt and grit per square foot of your carpet.

It’s this dry dirt that is making your carpet flat and look seriously matted, but more worryingly, this dangerously abrasive dry dirt is wearing away at the base of the fibres as people walk on your carpet.  We remove this dust before cleaning your carpet so as not to build a mucky sludge.  We’ll treat both the face and the back of the carpet to remove as much dry dirt as possible.

Pre Treatment & Brushing

Having reviewed any stains, the carpet came along with, we begin applying the right products to remove the stains. By applying and giving the carpet time to dwell greatly increases the chances of getting rid of the stains. Most carpets are natural fibres so it’s not possible to guarantee the removal of all stains completely. Although most stains are not difficult to get rid of, we take time to inform you of the expected outputs after we check on your carpet. Then we apply our cleaning reagents and begin the agitation.

We then deep clean twice to ensure that the sparkling fluffed nature of the carpet comes back.

Hand Finish Fringes & Groom the Carpet

After thoroughly cleaning the top side of the carpet, we hand finish the fringes using a specially designed table to protect delicate fibers. Harsh bleaches are avoided, and instead, the most appropriate cleaner for the fringe type is used, followed by a solution to prevent potential browning of fringes. The carpet is then groomed in four directions before drying to ensure that it stands up and lays in the same direction, resulting in a more even finish.

To provide additional protection, a Wool safe approved stain and dirt-resistant treatment can be applied to the carpet after finishing. The protector  at our carpet cleaner cleaning Nairobi is brushed through the fibers to provide deep down protection against common spills and stains and helps the carpet resist dirt, making it easier to vacuum at home. We don’t over apply protectors.

All carpets are hung to dry in our custom drying room, avoiding the potential problems associated with leaving carpets wet for days in a closed space. Hanging allows us to circulate temperature and humidity-controlled warm air around the carpet, preventing drying issues such as unwanted dye loss, cellulosic browning, or soap burn. It also reduces the chance of shape change as the carpet remains under fair tension while drying.
